Plum the little bunny wants everything NOW. The cookies in the warm oven. The swing his friend is on. That big shiny golden balloon. But Mama knows a tiny trick that turns waiting into a game every toddler can play: count to three, slowly, out loud.
Wait, wait, one-two-three - good things come, just wait and see!
Through three little waits every family knows - treat time, turn-taking at the playground, and an almost-ready birthday balloon - Plum discovers that waiting isn't easy, but good things come when we do. Little listeners count along on their fingers, say the rhyme with you, and take home a calm-down tool they can use the very next time waiting feels too big.
Why families love Plum- Teaches patience and impulse control without a single lecture - the lesson lives inside a warm, funny story.
- A say-along rhyme repeats at just the right moments, so toddlers join in by the second read.
- Sneaky early counting practice - one, two, three, on little fingers, every time.
- Gentle, toddler-true scenarios: waiting for cookies, waiting for a turn, waiting for a balloon - nothing scary, nothing preachy.
- Soft, cozy storybook art on every full-color page, made for lap reading and bedtime wind-downs.
A note for grown-ups inside shows you how to use Plum's counting trick in real life - in the kitchen, at the playground, anywhere waiting happens.
Perfect for bedtime, story time, preschool circle time, and every little one who is still learning to wait.
