Plum the little bunny has ears for everything - birds, humming, toys - everything except Mama calling his name. So Mama gives him something better than a louder voice: a small leaf-green bell and a simple two-step cue. When the bell rings, it means one thing: stop, look, listen.
Ears up high, eyes this way - little bunnies hear what big ones say!
From a distracted morning of humming and stacking blocks to a proud, listening-with-his-whole-self hug, Plum learns that a gentle cue - not a raised voice - is what helps busy little ears catch every word. He even shows his best friend Bea how it works, proving the trick travels beyond just him and Mama.
Why families love Plum
- Collect every book in the Plum the Bunny series to fill Plum's Little Toolbox - one little skill from every story.
Perfect for story time, playtime, and every little one whose ears are busy with everything at once.
- Teaches a real listening cue - a simple, repeatable signal that gets a toddler's attention before the instruction, not a request to just listen better.
- A say-along rhyme with a built-in two-step structure families can use with their own bell, chime, or special word.
- Shows the skill working with a friend, not just a parent - Plum shares his listening cue with Bea during a playdate, modeling how it transfers.
- Gentle, toddler-true language that treats busy attention as normal, not naughty, before offering the fix.
- Soft, cozy storybook art on every full-color page, made for lap reading and real everyday moments.
