Marshal Jacko Everhard was a young Wyoming Native who was working as a Livestock Marshal for the Wyoming Cattleman's Association during the 1980s'. This case involved the Rustling, Butchering and the frozen disposal of Cattle in the Laramie River Valley. After meeting with the Governor of the State of Colorado and the Governor of the State of Wyoming in Denver, Colorado, the Marshal agreed to work for both States as a Livestock Marshal. This was a benefit for all. Both states would get a law enforcement officer who could cross the state line. Marshal Jacko Everhard would get more pay, a new pickup, uniforms, guns and a new Computer System. While the Marshal was in Denver he received a call from his old friend Cecil Sweetcutt. Cecil and his wife had witnessed suspicious activity while fishing. Safely returning back to his home the Marshal got arrest warrants from both Wyoming and Colorado. The Marshal furnished all the evidence needed to the State of Colorado Prosecuting Attorney and to the State of Wyoming Prosecuting Attorney who shared in the trials, sentencing and prison time for all of the convicted Rustlers
