The Voynich Code is the third volume of the science fiction and historic thriller saga The Tesla Protocol. The work intertwines two fascinating timelines: Thirteenth century, three sages from different traditions - Miriam, a young Jewish and philosophic, born in Toledo, Ibrahim al-Rashid, a mathematician in the house of wisdom in Baghdad, and Frater Anselm, a Dominican monk in Lyon- independently discover the voice of the Earth, a natural electromagnetic oscillation (the Current Schumann Resonances) and its potential as an inexhaustible source of energy. In the face of wars and invasions and religious persecutions, they decide to preserve the discovery in a distributed and encrypted archive, the mysterious Voynich Manuscript, hiding the key with the sympathetic ink and stenographic markings in the botanical illustrations. Twenty-first century, manuscript expert Leila Nasser receives an email in Paris signed only by Kate indicating a hidden layer in the manuscript. In cooperation with paleographer Heinrich Brandt and investigative journalist Rania Azouri and scientist Adam Mora, Leila examines the original in the Beinecke Library under ultraviolet light, together deciphering medieval messages and exposing a centuries-old web of technological suppression that tried to keep the discovery in oblivion. It is a rich narrative about the preservation of knowledge through the centuries, intercultural dialogue and the love of scientific truth.
