The periphery-social, cultural, political, or literary-has always been a site of resistance and negotiation. The voices that emerge from the margins are not just stories of oppression but also of resilience, agency, and redefinition of identity. This proposed edited volume aims to explore literary representations of marginalized experiences. This book seeks to interrogate how literature serves as a medium for reclaiming identities, rewriting histories, and challenging dominant discourses. Contributions may engage with themes such as caste oppression, gender subjugation, racial discrimination, refugee narratives, indigenous literature, LGBTQ+ representations, disability studies, and more. The objective of this volume is to create an interdisciplinary dialogue by bringing together diverse perspectives on how literature captures and amplifies the voices of those who have been historically relegated to the margins.
