Vinagrito is a heartwarming, multigenerational tale inspired by one of Cuba's most beloved children's songs. When Teresita, a retired music teacher living in a quiet town, discovers a frail, unwanted kitten on the verge of abandonment, she brings him home-and back to life. She names him Vinagrito and together, they begin a journey of healing, belonging, and unexpected love.

As the seasons change, so does Vinagrito-from a fragile scrap of fur into the heart of the home. But love, like cats, doesn't always stay in one place. When Teresita's daughter returns home and Vinagrito begins to pull away, the family must navigate the quiet aches of growing up, growing old, and letting go.
