These characters, often communicating through defunct IoT devices and truthware glitches, ignite a digital underground movement aimed at restoring narrative multiplicity and cognitive disobedience.
Each chapter blends irony, dark humor, and all-too-familiar references to contemporary culture, politics, and technology-from meme warfare and cancel culture to emotion licensing and algorithmic trials. The novel explores themes such as the commodification of memory, the erosion of dissent, and the dangers of confusing consensus with truth.
In its final act, Veritas(TM) dives into speculative surrealism, blurring the line between simulation and reality, culminating in a fragmented, unresolved climax that leaves readers questioning whether the greatest casualty of the digital age was not truth-but the desire to seek it.
