A violent storm sends a luxury flight of two hundred women crashing onto an uncharted island. Thirty die on impact, forty are injured, and the survivors are left with almost no food, no medical supplies, and no way to call for help. A century later, the settlement has evolved into a vast metropolis known as Venus City, a matriarchal empire built entirely by women and ruled by a king who still looks thirty. But everything changes when the king undergoes a mysterious transformation-cocooning himself for two days and emerging with a perfect duplicate: a brother. Soon, two more brothers appear, and four kingdoms rise across the island: East, West, South, and North.
For generations, the system holds. The women live, work, and thrive under the rule of the immortal brothers. But then, for the first time in a hundred years, a young woman secretly gives birth to a boy-a child whose existence could shatter the balance of power. Hidden away and raised in secrecy, he grows with one purpose: to end the reign of the fathers and reclaim the future for the daughters of Venus City.
