My name is Mehrdad Eshghi, and I'm the creator of the VEGAS DRIVER book series and the VEGAS NATION YouTube channel. Two unique platforms dedicated to unveiling the raw, real, and riveting side of life in Las Vegas through the eyes of a professional rideshare driver. Instead of spending most of my time with my family, I drove and lived inside my legendary Prius for countless hours on the road and behind the wheel, providing for my family.

My name is Mehrdad Eshghi, and I'm the creator of the VEGAS DRIVER book series and the VEGAS NATION YouTube channel. Two unique platforms dedicated to unveiling the raw, real, and riveting side of life in Las Vegas through the eyes of a professional rideshare driver. Instead of spending most of my time with my family, I drove and lived inside my legendary Prius for countless hours on the road and behind the wheel, providing for my family.
I began my journey as an Uber driver in 2013, navigating the busy streets of Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. In late 2014, I moved to Las Vegas, where I continued working full-time for both Uber and Lyft. Since then, I've completed over 40,000 safe rides with my legendary Prius without a single ticket or accident, an achievement I take pride in.
In 2017, the idea of VEGAS DRIVER came to life, inspired by the countless stories I've witnessed firsthand behind the wheel. What started as a driving job soon became a window into the soul of a city and the wild, emotional, and often unbelievable world of rideshare passengers. It all happened while I drove my legendary Prius.
I am still driving for Uber and Lyft, and I just hit the milestone of HALF A MILLION miles with my LEGENDARY PRIUS!
The VEGAS DRIVER is more than just a six-book story series. It's a living archive of unforgettable human experiences: funny, shocking, sad, educational, and inspiring.
