Dr. Jack Andrews has completed his revenge against the corrupt legal professionals who ruined him. Now, instead of avenging the past, he will have to look to the future in this action-packed adventure thriller about retribution and survival.
Jack takes a part-time job in Alaska, but his sense of justice is outraged by a drunk-driving accident that leaves one young man dead, another gravely injured. The driver, son of a powerful businessman, has no feelings of shame, guilt, or regret. Instead, Kenai Hartly attempts to evade justice with legal maneuvers. To Jack, a family friend of the injured victim, this is just another example of the ways the American legal system fails its citizens. Once again he is compelled to take justice into his own hands.
As Jack plans for Kenai's downfall, he must confront the true reasons behind his vigilantism. The game he's playing may be too exciting to give up.
This taut thriller examines society's sense of justice, and whether integrity can be preserved in the face of senseless violence and hypocrisy. Society's laws aren't the only form of justice, and Kenai will face an avenging angel unlike any police force or law enforcement agency.
