Summary This novel tells the story of a boy with an extraordinary gift which was caused by a freak accident at birth. He uses this gift to help people suffering such conditions as post-traumatic stress disorder. The book explores various cases, finally resulting in his unique gift taking a dramatic turn - which eventually leads to him exploring a world beyond our own with his last patient and soul mate. Key Features It is a gripping insight into peoples' subconscious. It explores the areas of our dreams that we have no control of during sleep that can effect our every waking moment, including the horror of peoples' nightmares and the pleasures of their dreams. The book also deals with the breakdown of a family unit due to adultery, alcoholism and bereavement, and how this strengthens the relationship between two brothers. It concludes with a very unconventional romance. The Author Gary Taylor is 50 years old and comes from a working class background. Married with four daughters; he has lived in the Midlands area of the UK for all of his life. After leaving school he trained as an engineer within the National Express Group accomplishing to date 34 years continuous service within the company. For the last twenty years he has also been both a student and Instructor within a prominent Midlands-based martial arts association, and still competes at the European level. This is Gary's second novel, a very different genre from his first. The inspiration for the book came approximately five years ago after a very vivid reoccurring dream which plagued his mind.
