In this heart-wrenching collection of short stories, a series of unforeseen losses unfold for a group of men and women connected by one tragic event. The stories center on fifteen-year-old Nora's brief relationship with a boy named Jensen, and focus on the lives of those that loved them. From the dark perspective of Jensen's first love-who is diagnosed with cancer at the age of nineteen-to the mind of Nora's promiscuous, opportunistic childhood friend, each person battles the emotional and physical challenges of loss in his own way. Undeniably heartbreaking and insightful, this chronicle of events leads to an important revelation for anyone who has ever put their hopes and dreams on the back-burner for a future tomorrow. The possibility of tomorrow never coming is all too real, as these stories sadly and beautifully convey.
