The implicit reference to the expression Catching a crab is, probably, the explanation that best suits the title of this detective novel in which, just as you are sure of the possible result which certain situations seem to bring, thanks to the great skill of the author, we are witnessing a sudden and sometimes even drastic, albeit equally interesting, turn of events. Although the core of the narrative is represented by the detective aspect, which alternates moments of suspense with dramatic tones to other loads of a strong human and emotional component, in reality the author - with an inquisitive and analytical personality - seems to have wanted to present this his work as a result of careful observation of nature and human behavior. An iron rationality dominates the whole novel: characters and situations seem to be examined through a magnifying glass which does not escape any detail. A novel with intense rhythms, full of details and twists ... to be read in one breath. Franco Solimini
