Young gunfighter Jeb Cassidy is visiting his parents' ranch in Santa Fe when a neighbour's spread is attacked by Comanches, who slaughter the menfolk and abduct the women and children to sell as slaves, among whom are two of Cassidy's girl cousins. Cassidy, his family and friends set out to track the Comanches and recover his cousins. A long pursuit ensues during which Cassidy encounters Comancheros by the hundreds. When he is joined by his friends from Laramie, including the deadly Marshal Chance Beauregard, the mission changes from a straightforward rescue to a final reckoning, during the course of which he is assisted by Apaches, notorious outlaws, his lovely but lethal sisters and his sidekick Ben Hood.
The action ranges across New Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming, with the colorful characters leaving a trail of mayhem behind them as they make strange new friends and confound both new enemies and old.
