Initially, Cameron is your typical teenager, but after his parents' scandal, his life changes, from a popular student to the most bullied student at school. After running away from home. To survive, Cameron turns into a low-level drug-runner for a gang in San Diego. His only talent, and protection, is his quickness and accuracy with his treasured slingshot.
When his girlfriend, Hollie, finds God, she convinces him to give up drugs and quit working for the gang so they can have a life together.
But they soon find out that the gang has other plans for Cameron and, when Holly objects, she is found dead.
Cameron vows revenge on the Red Serpent Gang, the gang that will now stop at nothing to destroy the one who has betrayed them.
When Cameron prays for help, God appoints the spirit of King David (with whom Cameron hallucinated off being his trusted friend when he was a child ) enhancing his skills and giving him supernatural powers; the skills and powers of the sling shot must only battle evil. To flee from the gang, his family move to New Zealand, only to find a new gang, Satan's Cult, who has joined with the Red Serpents in hunting down Cameron.
Then he met Tara and finds some friends. Cameron fears the mob hurting Tara and his trusted friends to get to him. He made it his mission to protect them. Could he?
