Twenty-two year old Megyn Buckman and six other young adults call into their local radio stations, name a tune, and win the opportunity to participate in a new global youth movement named the Vanguard of Volunteer Voices, or V3. The organization has powerful sponsors, a weekly reality show, advanced communications capabilities, a victory hand gesture, and theme song. Their mission is to change the world for the better.
When one of the Callers dies Megyn discovers deceit, surveillance, and manipulation in the organization. It appears a group of international leaders are using the V3 to control the world's youth. She reports what she has learned to her fellow Callers. But before they can act, the global Council makes a pre-emptive move and Megyn and her friends become fugitives, running for their lives.
In desperation, she organizes an Internet broadcast where she plans to argue her case and expose the opposition. With millions of worldwide spectators tuned in, the transmittal takes a sudden turn. Viewers unexpectedly find themselves participants in this high stakes struggle. The choice is now theirs-- but will they have the courage to take on the challenge in spite of the dangers?
