When the book is open, a two-page spread for each day of the Omer is displayed.
Daily Omer Counting Highlights:
On the left hand page for each day you will see the following:
- The number of the day (1 to 49)
- The Jewish Date in Hebrew
- The full count in Weeks and Days in both English and Hebrew
- The special days of Lag LaOmer (Day 33) and Lad LaOmer (Day 34) are indicated
On the right hand page for each day, you will see beautiful, colorful, hand-drawn Hebrew letters that represent the numeric value of the day, and are large enough to be seen clearly from across the room.
A wonderful book for your own use, or as a gift for a Sephardic Jewish relative or friend.
Please note: This is not a coloring book or a daily journal. It is a religious book designed to be proudly displayed in your home on a bookstand, which needs to be purchased separately if you don't already have one. It does not contain the Omer counting blessings, so you don't need to worry about the name of God in case the book gets discarded, known as Sheimos in Hebrew.
