Four children are all dressed up and ready for Halloween. There's Kirsty, the witch. Craig the vampire. Then there's Nula, the ghost, and Toby, who's co-ordinating things whilst dressed as a zombie. They couldn't just be a ragtag bunch of stereotypes though, so Toby christened them the Halloweeners. Craig was new to it, though the others had celebrated Halloween before, many times before. Most of the people in the street knew the children and were happy to take their part in trick or treating. One particular house owner isn't so friendly, though it's fair to say the occupant has been expecting them, and intends to offer the group a special kind of welcome. He's been expecting them to knock on the door. He's been planning their visit for a while. In fact, he's been waiting for this all year....Interview with the AuthorQ - So, what makes the Halloweeners series special?A - It's a mix of things, really. When I set out to write these books, I wanted to create something that mirrored exactly the kind of books I like to read. My top picks are usually children's spine chilling scary novels, any of the thousands of thrillers and mysteries best sellers, and, of course, books featuring characters you can identify with. Basically, anything containing characters with a sharp attitude and written in a fast-paced style gets my vote. The Halloweeners (and subsequent books in the series that will be released around the holiday time) are a great mix of these genres. You'll find the series focuses on the mystery and thriller / children's Halloween genre overall, with a couple of light to medium horror elements thrown in for good measure, themes of teenage bullying, teenage romance and a serial killer novel or two to keep things interesting! 2017 will see book two in the series released, so keep watch on my Amazon author page for updates!Overall, the Halloweeners series is designed to keep you turning the pages - and I've made sure there's never a dull moment.Q - So, why should readers give these books a try?A - Because the Halloweeners series is a fast, fun, thrill-ride that takes no prisoners! Ultimately, readers who enjoy lightning-fast pacing with a plot that twists and turns all the way to the end will get a huge kick out of this series.Q - Anything else for us hungry readers?A - Sure. I've put together a few bundles if people want to save a little moolah and grab all the books in one swoop. Check out my author page here at Amazon for more details, and a full list of my available titles. And thanks for reading! The Halloweeners Series eBook Categories: - Mystery Series - Children's Spine Chilling Horror- Halloween books for Adults- JUVENILE FICTION > Holidays & Celebrations > Halloween- JUVENILE FICTION > Social Issues > Bullying- Childrens Halloween Stories
