In this post-pandemic world, the safety and wellbeing of the elder population has become a priority. The Department of Elder Security and Wellbeing (DESW), with the help of the Elder Patrol, are charged with regulating and controlling the protection of elders in general and aged over 70 in particular. Not all elders are compliant and happy with the safety measures in place and find that they seriously reduce their freedom of action and movement as free citizens. Resistance and non-compliance are on the increase and the DESW is forced to act. This story describes the escape of a group of elders from their residences and restrictions with the aid of the Elder Resistance Movement and a liberation front. They are confronted by the effort of the policy enforcers and well-doers who try to stop them.
It is a story of adventure, of liberation and of choice, as they overcome obstacle after obstacle and make their way to their destination of Seaside.
