About 4% of the general population are sociopaths. Sociopaths are typically very charming and extremely manipulative. Sociopaths have a strong feeling that they are entitled to everything they want and they will lie or cheat to get it. Sociopaths have no remorse, shame or guilt and show love and happiness only when it serves their purpose, none of which is genuine. They have a lack of sympathy or empathy to the pain and suffering that they cause others. They will never take blame for anything they have done even to family or friends. Typically, sociopaths have many sexual partners and tend to act out many sexual acts. Ryan Holderman was a sociopath. It made him rich and powerful. It also got him killed. In ?The Five, ? suspense writer William Boynes tells the story of five victims of Ryan Holderman. The book explores the limits of human tolerance to the actions of those who will destroy lives and livelihood for no apparent reason and with no remorse. In this complex and compelling story, we meet five victims: Jenn Matuch a young aspiring dancer, Roman Moretz a successful salesman, Walt Story owner of a family business, Jake Pound, a city government employee and Kelly Easton a prominent socialite and ex-wife of the late Ryan Holderman. Each one has their story and each has more than ample reason to kill Holderman. But which one will ultimately commit murder?
