The Director of government Medical Research Institution in Kitgum Town Uganda is murdered. A Deputy Police Inspector from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Regional Office in Gulu Odongkara is sent with a team of experts to go and solve the murder.
In a mixed mood of going to solve the murder case in Kitgum and the infidelity of his wife with his boss the Police Inspector CID, Odongkara left for Kitgum perturbed after he observed dried blood mark on the rear wheel of his boss Mukasa official car. To establish the source of the blood, Odongkara scraped the dried blood from the wheel of the vehicle in his handkerchief and took it to their laboratory for identification.
The twists and turns in the storyline expose criminals' characters which is the facde behind which they carry out and hide their motives and evil deeds. This detective novel, is a great creative work which explores human intrigues, which propels them to commit crimes and at the same time they try to cover their tracks so that, they are not caught or are criminally not liable. Odongkara uses his training skill and charm- ing personality to uncover the murderer of the Director of Medical Research Institute in Kitgum.
The author cleverly blends suspense with romance the story which compels the readers to read to the end of the novel.I strongly recommend you read the novel The Director Murdered by Professor Emmanuel Igwaro Odongo- Aginya to understand the mind of the criminal and how the investigator uses his tactics and charming personality to expose the criminals.
