The Death Game is the sequel to Murder by any Other Name. Joe Murphy comes to Utah to start again a new life, hoping for a big life change - a positive one this time. He takes a job as the operations manager for a company overseeing security for the 2002 Winter Games. It isn't long before Murphy realizes your past has a way of catching up with you - no matter where you live. Murphy discovers that a terrorist group is behind the Winter Games scandal ensuring the games come to America - specifically to Salt Lake City - in order to set off a bomb at the opening ceremonies of the games to make a statement against the Mormon religion. One of the terrorists is an old adversary of Murphy's from his covert ops days. When this person from Murphy's past sees him in Salt Lake he decides to change the terrorist plan - turning things into a type of a chess game between him and Murphy with Salt Lake being the game board. This game, however, will lead to the loss of many innocent lives. The only way this game will end will be when Murphy or his old adversary dies. This story is fiction.
