When tragedy strikes and a member of his family is killed by a stray bullet from a drug dealer's gun, Dave Richards embarks on a quest for revenge against those responsible. He begins by targeting the men who control the illegal drugs trade in Manchester, which brings him to the attention of Colonel Thompson, who operates a Secret Intelligence Service team battling organised crime. Recruited by the Colonel, Richards' crusade eventually takes him on a dangerous mission to the coca-producing jungles of Colombia, where he is part of a team aiming to shut down José Camargo's large-scale drug-exporting empire. The Captain's Vengeance is a thrilling novel, exciting, action-packed and emotionally compelling. Neil Himsworth was born in Beverley, East Yorkshire, in 1962 and raised in Leeds. Educated at local schools and Cambridge University he has developed a wide variety of interests. After working in London for several years, he now lives in West Yorkshire with his wife and two children.
