When Rainbow the Chameleon and her friend Casey the Frilled Lizard discovered a secret room hidden one of the zoo buildings, they had no idea of the adventures that they would soon go on!This amazing machine had lots of funny knobs and buttons that looked very interesting. But when they hit a big green button, the door to the machine started to close and weird sounds started coming from it.Just then a fly flew in and the machine sounded like it was going to explode! But...when the sounds stopped, out came not one, but TWO flies. This machine duplicated the fly!Casey immediately decided to duplicate himself, but when all of the other animals heard about the amazing machine, they started coming down to see what it was all about. When a lion accidentally fell in the machine with a tiger, everyone stopped to see what would happen. And out came a liger! The machine it turns out can combine the animals into new combinations. The animals all went in and started turning into crazy, mixed up versions of other animals!Everyone was having a good time until some of the animals wanted to visit the big city in their new animal bodies. What would Rainbow do now? She started this mess and now she had to put an end to it.Find out about all of the crazy mixed-up animals and what happens to them when they escape the zoo in this brand new book by the #1 best-selling childrens' author Angela Giroux.
