Rhode Island, 1990. A looming banking scandal is about to break wide open. At the center stands the scion of a powerful banking institution, heir to his father's fortune and position, but not to his values and principles. Luco Parisi's scheme plunders the institution his father worked a lifetime to build and threatens to bankrupt his father's legacy as well. With his deceit on the verge of being exposed, Luco sets into motion a carefully laid plan of evasion and escape, leaving behind a trail of financial devastation for thousands - including local mob boss Tubby Bagnatore. Before Luco escapes, he uses the little time he has left to settle some old scores. But revenge works both ways and the mob, it turns out, is the least of his problems. Luco is about to learn the painful meaning of vengeance - and retribution - from an unexpected adversary.
