Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a turtle? Just think, you could go anywhere you wanted to go and never leave your home, because you would be carrying your home on your back! (Or at least that's what everyone says.) This is the story of a very funny couple of turtles who like to sing and who never stay anywhere for very long. And Penelope Dyan introduces them to you through her delightful poetry and kid-like illustrations The tale is short and sweet; and it is, of course, the tale of two turtles who enjoy the company of one another very much, as you will see. Sometimes it seems like people are like turtles, or maybe turtles are like people. But the truth is that turtles really are turtles, and people really are people, except in a Penelope Dyan story where things just seem to get a little confused. After you read A Turtle's Life For Me! you can decide if you are a turtle, or if you just want to live your life like one.
