The world is very richly thought out, and you could tell that there are many more layers of detail that weren't touched upon in order to keep the story pacing fast.
The action sequences were fast and satisfying, tense mecha battles, which culminated in a nice climax.

I was tense through a pretty good bit of the fighting, and especially towards the end! There are some surprises that totally caught me off guard. I like the Riders, it feels like they could be alive somewhere in real life, and the mechas are somehow both machine-like and darlings. This is definitely worth a read.
