The economy crashed years ago. The abominations have free rein. But remember-not all is as it seems.
Klix Hyzen and her brother Jake live in a forest tucked away in Northern Indiana, fairly clear of all the threats the world has to offer. Jake works at the foundation offering aid to the lessening population of mankind, and Klix busies herself with much prayer while caring for their cabin. It's been like this ever since the creatures known as B.O.A.s reached America's shores. They are animals infected by a genetically created disease, a ploy of the animal lunatic and leader of the Animal Dominion Association, Jackal Ptherio, to end mankind. Anyone not sided with this evil man are known as the resistance, and must tread carefully, because you never know where his spies are hidden. Both Klix and Jake realize it's only a matter of time before these Beasts of Abomination reach their log cabin.
One fateful day while Klix is out looking for valuables, she returns to find her cabin ransacked and her brother missing. She is chased out of her home and instead of finding help, the A.D.A. discovers her and sends her to a strange place in the African Rainforest. Everyone calls it a Trial Zone, but what does that explain? What kind of prison has a town and a workplace with the liberty to freely travel between?
Mysteries surface, questions remain unanswered, and suspicious activity is through the roof. To top it all off, Klix is plagued by a dream that won't let her rest.
Klix has to let God guide her every thought and footstep, otherwise she may end up in dangerous situations. Why is a prison buried in so many secrets, anyway?
