Romeo and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) is a tragedy by William Shakespeare Robert. Written around the beginning of her career, she tells the story of two young lovers whose death reconciles their feuding families, the Montagues and Capulets. The piece is part of a series of tragic love stories dating back to antiquity. Its plot is based on an Italian tale translated into English and verse by Arthur Brooke in 1562 under the title The Tragical History of Romeus and Juliet. In 1582, William Painter (in) proposes a version in prose in Palace of Pleasure. Shakespeare borrows from both, but deepens the plot by developing the supporting characters, particularly Mercutio and Count Paris (in). Probably written between 1591 and 1595, the piece is published for the first time in quarto in 1597. This text, of poor quality, has been corrected in subsequent editions, closer to the original Shakespeare. Several factors indicate playwright Shakespeare's budding talent: its particular use of the structure, including alternating between comic and tragic scenes to increase the tension, development of secondary characters and its use of annexes intrigues to improve the narrative. Each character is assigned a particular poetic form, which can vary throughout its evolution: Romeo and he becomes more adept at the sonnet over the room. William Shakespeare, baptized April 26, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and died May 3 (April 23) 1616N 1 in the same city, is considered one of the greatest poets, playwrights and writers of the anglaise1 culture. He is known for his mastery of poetic and literary forms, as well as its ability to represent aspects of human nature. prominent figure in Western culture, Shakespeare continues to influence artists today. It is translated in many languages and, according to Index Translationum, with a total of 4281 translations, it is the third of the most translated authors in foreign languages after Agatha Christie and Jules Verne2. His works are regularly performed throughout the world. Shakespeare is one of the few playwrights who practiced both comedy than tragedy. Shakespeare wrote thirty-seven dramatic, between the 1580s and 1613. But the exact chronology of his plays is still debated. However, the volume of his work does not appear as exceptional compared to standards of the time.
