The Wrong Reflection is a psychological horror novel that explores the fragile nature of identity, reality, and the eerie unknown. The story follows Ivy Carter, a woman recovering from a near-fatal car accident, who soon realizes that something is horribly wrong with her life. As she struggles to regain her memory, she notices subtle yet disturbing inconsistencies-her reflection lingers too long in the mirror, her loved ones insist that she has always been the way she is, and worst of all, she feels like a stranger in her own body.
The novel begins with Ivy waking up in a hospital room, disoriented and confused. Her fiancé, Ethan, reassures her that she was lucky to survive the accident, but Ivy can't shake the feeling that something is off. As she returns home, the small, unexplainable events begin to pile up. Her favorite book on the shelf feels unfamiliar, her handwriting doesn't quite match, and her reflection in the mirror appears to hesitate before mimicking her movements.
The psychological terror deepens as Ivy's memories begin to clash with the reality presented to her. When she confronts Ethan about her fears, he grows concerned but dismisses them as the effects of trauma. Her best friend, Lacey, also urges her to rest and not dwell on her paranoia. But Ivy knows something is wrong-she just can't prove it.
Determined to uncover the truth, Ivy starts investigating the accident that nearly took her life. She tracks down the paramedics who rescued her and finds an unsettling discrepancy in their reports.
