Tink has never carved a pumpkin before, but his best friend Ben knows exactly what to do: make a scary face, then put it on the porch. Tink's dad thinks decorating a house with FOOD sounds wonderfully silly-and he can't wait to join in!
With the dads helping, the boys get to work. But pumpkin carving is much squishier than Tink expected. There's wet hair inside his pumpkin, slippery strings that won't let go, and a runaway seed that gives Dad an unexpected decoration. Then Tink takes one last peek inside his pumpkin...and ends up wearing it!
When it's time to draw, Tink has some ideas of his own. Lopsided eyes? Absolutely. A toothy grin and a curling tongue? Of course. A tail on the back? How else will his pumpkin wag?
