The race is about to begin, but Tim the Turtle has something much bigger on his mind.
After the loss of a loved one, Tim no longer feels like himself. The excitement of the upcoming race is overshadowed by sadness, uncertainty, and questions he doesn't know how to answer. As he struggles to move forward, his friends rally around him with support, compassion, and encouragement.
In this touching first installment of the Tim the Turtle series, children will follow Tim's journey as he learns that grief is not something we overcome alone. Through friendship, understanding, and community, Tim discovers that it's okay to ask for help and that healing takes time.
Created by a public school teacher dedicated to helping children develop emotional resilience, this gentle and uplifting story offers an age-appropriate way to explore difficult feelings while celebrating hope and connection.
A meaningful addition to any home, classroom, or counseling library.
