A heartwarming adventure about a friendship that overcomes all differences.
Book OverviewBeautifully told and brought to life with wonderful pencil-and-digital illustrations, this charming tale transports young readers into a vibrant world of German Shepherds, water buffaloes, and farm adventures. Through this story, children will discover why it is so important to protect the vulnerable and never judge others by their appearance.
The StoryThor is a German Shepherd puppy with a coat as black as his father's. He lives happily alongside his mother and sisters in a small village at the foot of an ancient castle. Thor has a very special feature: a bright white star on his chest, a symbol that protects him on his journey until the day he meets Stella-a little brown calf who, amazingly, has the exact same star on her chest.
At three months old, Thor leaves his village to move to a beautiful farm by the sea. There, he meets a pack of other German Shepherds led by Max, the wise elder dog. Max teaches Thor his daily duties: guarding a grand herd of water buffaloes. Thor learns quickly and, guided by Max and the pack, becomes excellent at his job. However, the farm has very strict rules, and Thor is strictly forbidden from speaking to any other animal. But one day, a huge, gentle water buffalo named Mya approaches Thor with a special request: she wants him to become friends with her little daughter, Stella. Will Thor have the courage to break the rules for the sake of friendship?
Why Choose This Book?- A Message of Inclusion: It teaches children that being different is not a flaw, but a unique trait that makes each of us special.
