And always the same flashing red line at the center of the screens:

In the middle of the harsh white light, a man moved quickly between overturned workstations.
His breathing was short. Uneven.
In his hand, a USB drive.
Behind him, voices echoed through the locked corridors.
Orders.
Alarms.
Metallic impacts against the security doors.
The man finally reached a secondary room plunged into darkness. A few screens were still glowing despite the general alert.
Red warnings appeared across the scientific reports:

RESTRICTED ACCESS
PROJECT EREBUS
For weeks, some of the researchers had begun to realize that the project went far beyond what they had been told.
At first, Erebus was supposed to revolutionize medicine.
Then everything changed.
Slowly.
Brutally.

Without hesitation, the man plugged the USB drive into an old computer still connected to a secured external line.

he understood one thing.
Someone was willing to kill to stop those files from leaving the laboratory.
