Do you have things lurking and living in your house? Do they make you afraid or nervous? Sometimes things are real and sometimes they are pretend, and to pretend is very good, as long as you don't scare yourself. The child in this book has a very big imagination, and sometimes things scare her, but in the end she remembers one very important thing about her house. Can you guess what that is? It is something that makes her feel secure and safe no matter what. So if you happen to see something strange in your closet or under your bed, remember our little heroine and why she felt so very safe. Penelope Dyan, author of 'Surfer Girl, ' best teen book at the 2008 New York Book Festival and best teen book at the 2008 Hollywood Book Festival, a former teacher and attorney, really understands kids. She brings all her knowledge and love of children with her as she writes her books, and like all Bellissima Books, her books have a lesson and a purpose. Have fun reading this family friendly book with its delightful poetry and fun illustrations, and remember and never forget that Bellissima loves kids. After all, our children are the future; and investing in our children should be our biggest joy and our most important obligation.
