Critics have often incorrectly labeled Charles Darwin an atheist simply because he held a naturalistic view of creation. The truth is Darwin believed in God for most of his life. His goal was never to discredit anyone's faith in God. He publicly stated that he didn't see any conflict in being a theist and an evolutionist at the same time. Rather than being sinister in his efforts, Darwin sincerely sought to understand how humans came into existence.
Unfortunately, Darwin didn't have at his disposal all the recent scientific discoveries that have subsequently dispelled his theory. These more recent findings are laid out in chapter one showing why Darwin's theory of macroevolution has become obsolete .
Darwin's view of God is examined in chapter two.
Chapter three discusses his view of the Bible and its trustworthiness.
Finally, chapter four deals with his worldview and compares the theistic worldview with the atheistic worldview.
