A young man, out of work, decides to go to a local restaurant to watch a football game. After he is seated at the bar and looking out at the harbor an older man sits down next to the young man. During a commercial on the television they introduce themselves to each other, and the discussion begins about the different Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod's Nantucket Sound related historical incidents that occurred in or near Forest Beach in South Chatham. This unusual series of conversations became a weekly occurrence for the entire Football season, as the two men discussed their first-hand knowledge of a wide range of historical sea stories.
