Scarlett continues her life as a woman, and gets to meet her biological mother and Wada, who ends up committing harakiri on being told that he was not Scarlett's biological father, having committed numerous sins on her behalf. Later Scarlett's mother dies in hospital of natural causes. Scarlett inherits a considerable amount of money, and numerous properties from her presumed father, namely Wada, and from her mother, which made her a very rich woman.
Scarlett continues her life as a single beautiful woman, and from her Nihon Buyou performances, she has earned a great deal of money, utilising her learnt skills of being a thespian. She had taken on board all that she had been taught, in the way of theatrical skills and the ways of an onnagata. She carried her female guise into all aspects of her life. What she was unsure of, was if she had inherited her mother's demonic manipulating skills, and if Wada had really been her father, and so, could she have also inadvertently inherited some of his cunning and ruthlessness ways?
