In the beloved book Sweet Pea's Tale of TOO MANY TOMATOES! you met Sweet Pea, a little bunny who lives in a tidy hole by the stream on the south side of the meadow. In this second Sweet Pea Tale, all of Sweet Pea's friends and relations decide to come visit for the holidays. As the guest tally increases, she finds there is more and more to do! Will she be ready by Christmas Day? Will String Bean be able to help her out when an unexpected calamity ruins all her plans? Find out, as SWEET PEA'S CHRISTMAS unfolds one day at a time like an Advent Calendar. Just like TOO MANY TOMATOES! there are lots of things to SEEK and FIND (like a baby mouse taking a bath in green paint or a bee with mittens.) The book also includes instructions for making Sweet Pea's Christmas ornaments and gingerbread bunnies. This 8 x 10 hard cover picture book has 48 pages of whimsical watercolor illustrations hand painted by the author that enchant children and adults alike.
