This is a story two young people that go to San Martin Island to work for the summer on the island resort. The boy, Lenny, just graduated from high school and is attempting to work and save some money for college. He is so intolerbly shy and lacking of any self confidence, he has a tough time adjusting to life away from home. The girl, Dee Dee, is one year younger than Lenny and is a little on the wild side. They don't know one another when they arrive, but they hook up for about as much adventure and excitement as they can handle. Their puupy love romance was a first for Lenny. You can watch Lenny as he evolves into a very confident young man. All this makes a summer to remember for them both.
