Fed up with the plague of Internet sexual predators and pornographers, police, a physician, and citizens decide something must be done to stop them. The results were: 1.) a state-wide network of volunteer Internet smut-surfers to identify and report Internet deviates, 2.) surgeries performed on predators when apprehended attempting to meet youngsters, and 3.) an elaborate police sting to simultaneously apprehend dozens of deviates producing pornographic material. It is reliably reported that at any given moment, from 45 to 50 thousand sexual predators are on line in search of prey. One of every 7 kids with personal profiles on the Web has been contacted by a predator with salacious sexual material, often prior to explicit sexual proposals for meeting. For any parent with computer-aged children, this is a must-read book. Skillfully woven throughout an intriguing tale are rules for avoiding these contacts.
