Alive with Blackmail, Coercion, Deception, Bribery, Prostitution, Pornography, Exploitation and Manipulation, even Murder, with Drugs Smuggling and usage never very far from any of it, Soho, was effectively Hell on Earth for those unfortunates trapped within its web. After a massive crackdown had been undertaken by London s Metropolitan Police Service in the early 60s, the void left, created the ideal opportunity for a new kind of gangland ownership, with society individuals, and senior police officers very much involved. This story, somewhat dark and moody, occasionally humorous, but more often, poignant, is almost true.
