Daniel Warburton is abducted by aliens and asked to participate in an experiment. He agrees and is given certain powers that he is to use to prevent mankind from its own self-destructive ways. Daniel sets out to create a Utopian society but there are those who seek to oppose him. Mobster Jimmy Santini sees Daniel as a threat to the mafia way of life and seeks to end Daniel's mission. Father Paul Sikora is a young idealistic priest fresh out of Seminary. At first he embraces Daniel and his mission. After Sikora learns of the source of Daniels powers, and his blaspheme, he is convinced and unspeakable evil possesses Warburton. Providence sends Sikora and Warburton on a collision course where the fate of the world hangs on the outcome.
