After growing up in a household riddled with emotional trauma, Claire leaves after high school and moves into the heart of New York City. She attends college where she studies chemical engineering. Her education is focused heavily on the oil and gas industry but Claire is hesitant to work for them due to their effects on the environment. She resists joining the industry, only to find herself right in the middle of it after graduation.
After her watching close family members succumb to drug addiction, and losing her best friend to an overdose, she turns to alcohol to cope with her pain. She finds herself in a debilitating situation she is unable to escape. She shares her story of how she alchemizes her pain by getting to the root of her emotional trauma. She heals her body, mind and soul. She stops abusing substances and takes control of her life.
Claire shares her story with the intention of helping others tend to their own wounds, heal them, and thrive in life. With her background in science and fierce desire to remediate the current problems society faces, she shares ways we can change our everyday actions to save the world by saving ourselves.
