Survive, Revive & Thrive: A Guide to Saving Yourself tells the captivating story of how Claire has alchemized distressing past events into prosperous opportunities for her future. She demonstrates how strenuous experiences from childhood can shape actions and patterns in adulthood and how to not let these circumstances dictate one's life. After growing up in a strenuous household riddled with emotional trauma, Claire leaves and moves into the heart of New York City. She attends college where she studies the rigorous program of chemical engineering. Her education is focused heavily on the oil and gas industry but Claire is resistant to working for them due to their catastrophic effects on the environment. She tries hard to avoid joining the industry, only to find herself right in the middle of it after graduation. She goes into depth about her first job and the stressful situations she experienced being a young woman in the workforce. She shares her story of how her close family members and friends succumb to drug and alcohol addiction. She shares her vulnerable story of losing her best friend to a drug overdose. Using alcohol to cope with her misfortune and pain, she finds herself in a debilitating situation she is unable to escape. She shares her story of how she alchemizes her pain by going to therapy and getting to the root of her emotional trauma. By doing this, she heals her body, mind and soul. She stops abusing substances and takes control of her life. She uses her past traumatic events to help others experiencing the same situation. With her background in science and fierce desire to remediate the current problems society faces, she shares ways we can change our everyday actions to save the world by saving ourselves. Claire valiantly shares her vulnerable story with the intention of helping others tend to their own wounds, heal them, and thrive in life.
