'Storytime with Bruce Disney Underground: Dreams, Drama, and Deaths' is a collection of non-fiction stories based on real experiences, conversations, and observations by author Bruce Wolfe, a 25-year member of the Disney organization, company shareholder, and member of the Disney family. This first book in the Storytime with Bruce series recounts stories of meeting and/or working with celebrity personalities and artists, working on various high-profile projects, working day-to-day in the most magical place on earth, and becoming a Disney Imagineer. The book also provides a tasteful glimpse into some of the behind-the-scenes stories (without giving away the confidential stuff) experienced by those who make Disney's magic. There are lots of quotes by Walt and his wife Lillian. The book also includes a low-key but heartfelt tribute to several individuals who sadly lost their lives over the years while visiting, or working at, the magical vacation spot. Bruce also provides his thoughts and opinions on the entertainment giant's spending habits, interpersonal relationships, and organizational culture of the world-class company. The book is an unofficial, unauthorized publication and is completely based on the experiences and opinions of the author.
