Luke finds out soon enough, that Jake had actually stolen his own son for ransom. The police records showed that the characters that Jake hung around with were potentially dangerous, and no to be entirely trusted. And Zix, the mastermind, along with his bunch of toughies, soon discover that kidnapping the Governor's grandson was like roping their neck in the hangman's noose. In the end, Jo discovers who is true father is after a DNA test.
