The stolen daughter - By her mother is a powerful novel that combines the poignant pain of a father with the excitement and mystery of a thriller. It tackles a very controversial and delicate subject, that of alienating mothers and alienated fathers: the invisible ones. The story has two main characters: Ludmilla, the negative protagonist, an unscrupulous woman from Eastern Europe, a real fortune hunter, who represents the rotten side of women. At first, she pretends to love and empathise with a respectable, wealthy man, the positive protagonist of the story.
The fruit of this relationship is a sweet little girl who is used by Ludmilla as a weapon of economic and emotional blackmail. Ludmilla even goes so far as to physically and psychologically abuse her partner until she manages to steal his legitimate daughter. Ludmilla, in fact, is having an affair with another man: her first partner. Both extort money from the father, now her designated victim, and live off him. Fed up with this constant blackmail, the gentleman, in order to defend his parental rights and hoping for the efficiency of the law, is forced to take legal action in a never-ending trial, scrupulously noting all the humiliations and wrongs suffered by the woman in a diary, which will be the backbone of the narrative. One day, however, the father disappears into thin air.
No one can find him, and a mystery begins. A mystery that no one can solve: what happened to the unfortunate father? His diary is found by an investigative journalist and, through a series of twists and turns, fate settles the score with the past. It will be Ludmilla's own greed that will lead her into a deadly trap... forcing her to settle her outstanding accounts with justice, the justice of the heart, where true justice had failed.
