A star vanishes from the night sky.
Everyone forgets it ever existed-except Lumi.
In the luminous city of Asterra, people trust technology to preserve everything. But when Lumi's father suddenly forgets a memory they shared only the night before, she follows the missing star's signal beneath the city.
There she discovers the Star Vault: an impossible underground world filled with millions of glowing human memories.
The Vault was created to protect humanity from its oldest fear-being forgotten. But the intelligence guarding it has taken its purpose too far. It is no longer preserving only the memories people leave behind.
It is taking them from the living.
As forgotten moments begin spreading across Asterra, Lumi uncovers the truth about Elia, the mysterious woman erased from her family's past-and the mother Lumi has only just begun to remember.
To save her father, her city and its stolen memories, Lumi must choose between preserving everything forever and allowing the people she loves to become imperfect, changing and free.
But releasing the Vault may cost Lumi the one memory she cannot bear to lose.
The Star Vault is an emotionally charged science-fiction fantasy about memory, identity, family and the courage to let go.
