Saint Francis De Sales is a biography of the 16th-century Catholic bishop and theologian Francis De Sales, written by Louis Sempe. The book explores De Sales' life and his contributions to the Catholic Church, including his writings on spirituality and his work as a bishop in Geneva. Sempe delves into De Sales' early life and education, his conversion to Catholicism, and his rise to prominence within the Church. The book also examines De Sales' influence on the development of Catholic spirituality, particularly through his book Introduction to the Devout Life. Sempe's biography provides a detailed and engaging portrait of this important figure in Catholic history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
